Connectors are those within an area who are already serving. They know the needs, roles, responsibilities, policies, and procedures so that those who want to be connected have someone to guide them in their new serving position.

Staff who supervise an area are responsible to identify specific connectors. Connectors provide the link from the ministry guide who initially interviewed the person.
