Middle School Ministry
Cross Culture Middle School Ministries consist of Sunday morning service (Cross Culture AM), Friday night youth group (Cross Culture PM), and our annual Cross Culture Camp in the summer. As middle school is such an integral time in a young person's development, we challenge our students to take their spiritual walk seriously, building a strong foundation of faith, knowledge and worship of our Savior. Our staff's primary objective is to disciple the middle school youth by teaching Biblical truths, building an encouraging and loving community, and striving together to love and serve Jesus more every day. Oh, and we have a lot of fun doing it!
Our key verse is 1 Timothy 4:12, which reads, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity." This verse reminds us that even though we are young, God can transform our lives with his Holy Spirit and He wants to use us in his Kingdom.
At Cross Culture AM, we teach Biblical truth in applicable ways, worship our Savior and make new friends. This service offers a fantastic complement to the main worship service of the middle school student.
Cross Culture PM meets on Friday nights from 7-9 PM in the Activity Center. We have exciting games and activities, authentic worship, and small groups that challenge students to love Jesus more and live it out every day.
Cross Culture Camp is our annual summer trip where students make new friends, learn to rely on God, and have an unforgettable adventure. Many students call Cross Culture Camp their favorite time of summer and a great way to kick off the new school year. We spend three nights up in Big Bear playing awesome games, engaging in authentic worship and diving into God's Word.
If you are in middle school, we'd love to have you join us at any or all of these events. Our heart is for helping students commit to following Christ as they grow, and we would love to get to know you and invest in your life! If you are an adult or parent interested in learning more about getting involved in middle school ministry, we'd love to hear from you too!
