Position Title: First Impressions Coordinator

Department: Front Office

Reports to: Pastor Kenny Kibble

Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Description of Position:

The purpose of this position is to oversee and manage the facilities, Sunday hospitality, safety team, and provide general administrative support.

Responsibilities and Duties:

A.  Facilities

  1. Inspect facility weekly
  2. Direct Janitors and Maintenance personal with specific tasks
  3. Order janitorial supplies (paper, cleaning products, etc.)
  4. Meet with inspectors as needed (annual fire inspection, annual elevator inspection, back-flow system)
  5. Oversee maintenance contracts (HVAC, elevator, landscape)
  6. Develop a network of contractors and repairmen (both volunteer and professional)
  7. Manage the keys (copy and issue as needed, maintain an accurate list, recall keys as needed)
  8. Point person for elevator and fire system monitoring

B. Hospitality

  1. Kitchen (order and restock, safety tours, ensure that groups are leaving it clean)
  2. Hospitality (buy supplies, schedule volunteers, call and recruit new volunteers, maintain quality control, stay in budget, schedule locking and unlocking of the facilities (volunteers))

C. Safety

  1. Schedule volunteers
  2. Call and recruit new volunteers
  3. Keep up-to-date on training

D. Other Admin

  1. Support Michelle as needed
  2. Support other pastors

E. General Administration

  1. Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct person or department. Answering inquiries in person, by phone, and by email
  2. Church calendar support (provide information regarding open dates, costs associated with events and special event scheduling)
  3. Manage volunteers, includes scheduling back-up personnel when needed
  4. Provide administration and logistics support for the pastoral team
  5. Provide problem solving support

F. Other

  1. Other responsibilities may be assigned to you from time to time from the executive pastor or his designated representatives


  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and maintain teams of volunteers
