MISSIONS

"THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. AND SURELY I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, TO THE VERY END OF THE AGE"

MATTHEW 28: 19-20

Local and International Missions

Camarillo Community Church supports a number of missions within our community and beyond. Check out the details below and don't forget to check out the ministry websites by clicking the icons or any links you see.

  • Heart of Hope

HHMI started in January of 1991. Debbie Marshall and Chuck Fox, her father, traveled to Romania to adopt a child for Debbie and her husband Dan. They immediately recognized there was far more to do than the adoption of one child. The dire needs of the children and entire families tore their hearts open. Debbie was successful in adopting, but that was only the beginning of what now has been a twenty-one year journey.

    Camp of the Good Shepherd

The dream to develop a Christian Camp and Retreat Center became a reality early in 1998 with the purchase of property in Lotrioara, Romania. The Camp of the Good Shepherd is now in its 15th year of operation providing orphans and children in desperate need with a Christian camping experience to cherish for a lifetime.

    Home of Hope

HHMI recognized the need for additional transition homes for young women in potential crisis situations leaving the State Placement Centers and impoverished communities. Due to lack of education in the areas of basic life and job skills, the transition home offers a refuge to learn the most fundamental aspects of living. Additionally, they are provided the opportunity to develop a life long relationship with Christ.

    • Our church supports Home of Hope through Project Serve making quilts and fundraising throughout the year.
  • I.S.P.  [International School Project]

ISP is an educational organization that provides professional training for teachers using curricula and other materials that will meet the real needs in their classrooms and communities. ISP was formed in 1991 with an invitation from the Russian Ministry of Education to help develop morals and ethics in their youth. Since 1991, ISP has trained more than 91,000 teachers in 24 countries, impacting the lives of more than 30,000,000 students and their parents. ISP has expanded from Russia to include Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Central and South America.

  • Individuals & couples We support

Cam Community has a long history of sending out and supporting missionaries who have gone around the world to bringing the Gospel to the lost. Some of these missionaries cannot be named due to the hostility within the countries they reside in. Please join us in praying for them!
