A group of residents of Camarillo gathered for Bible study and prayer
believing God wanted a church in Camarillo. |
The
Baptist General Conference
purchased a parcel of land at the corner of Carmen and Las Posas for
a future building site and the same congregation began to repay the
purchase price. |
Ralph
Rittenhouse, current senior, pastor answered the call to come to Camarillo.
He moved with his wife, Jackie, and two children.

The
church continues to grow, a new building was built and paid for. With
a focus on outreach, the name was changed to its current name, and
plans for a larger structure began. |
Camarillo
Community Church moved into a new 1,000-seat worship facility on
the site and joined the Willow
Creek Association. We are also able to host regional training
conferences that assist other churches in developing leadership
and growing mature believers. |
