How I spend my days off: Camping and Hiking

First job: I was a bus boy for a fancy restaurant in Memphis, TN.

Current job: I oversee and support the volunteers that make the Small Groups and Community Nite ministries happen.

Hobbies: I run and read (not at the same time).

How I came to follow Jesus: One Sunday in 7th grade Sunday School I finally connected the things the teacher was saying to my own circumstances and was confronted with my own selfishness and need for Jesus. I followed the teacher’s prayer and asked Jesus into my life and to be my friend, savior and king.

Vision for the church: I believe Christian Community is a gift from God and is fundamental to the process where followers of Jesus grow to become more like Him. My vision is to see every follower of Jesus join a community, as seen in a small group, where they can grow, serve, be cared for and develop friendships with eternal purpose. My vision is that these groups will also reach out to this world with love and compassion, impacting people’s lives for the Kingdom.
