Get Connected!
If you're looking to get connected, and meet some new friends at Camarillo Community Church, we have a number of ways to do that, depending on what you're looking for! Getting connected at CCC is about relationships that go deeper than the, “how are you?” on Sunday mornings. All of us need time each week with a smaller group of people who can get to know us personally, share life with us, and encourage us. God never meant for us to go through life alone, so why don't you GET CONNECTED!
Hungry? Want to meet some new friends? Come over to “our place” for some Soup and Salad!
Soup and Salad - Soup and Salad is a monthly event for our guests and attendees to meet the pastors and other members of our church in fun and friendly environment. They are held in the homes of various church members. You'll have a chance to enjoy some great food, and get to know people from our church in low pressure way. Watch our Worship Program for the announcement!
Do you want to get practical teaching on real life topics that affect you and your family and connect with new friends all at the same time? Then Community Nite is for you!
Community Nite – offers free classes on a variety of topics, dinner and communion and is typically held the first Sunday evening of the month. Some course descriptions change from month to month, but all classes are relevant, interesting and lively! Classes are available before dinner from 4:00 to 5:30 and the second set of classes take place after dinner and communion from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. You don't have to register for class to come, you are welcome to just attend the dinner and communion time. Registration for classes and/or dinner is not mandatory, but is appreciated. To register, drop off a registration card (found in the Sunday morning worship program), either at the office or in the Sunday morning offering, or contact Jim Moyer at jimmoyer@camcc.net or call (805) 482-2657 x-118
Are you new to our church, or is your relationship with God brand new? Then Class 101 is for you:
Class 101 - If you're new to our church, or still asking questions about God, join us for Class 101. This class is designed to inform those coming into our church about who we are, what we believe and where we are going, and will help those with questions about God get answers. This three hour class is led by our senior pastor, Ralph Rittenhouse, the first Sunday of every month, except July and December. It starts at 4:00 PM, and is here at the church. Dinner and childcare are provided from birth to 5th grade. If you are interested, contact Jim Moyer at jimmoyer@camcc.net or call (805) 482-2657 x-118
Do you want to form deeper relationships with others? Connecting with a small group of 4-10 people, that share their experiences with God together through in-depth study of God's Word, can strengthen and enhance your relationship with God, our church and others:
Life Groups – these groups run all year long. Life groups provide opportunities for you to fellowship, learn, support, serve and grow spiritually together in a comfortable, relaxed environment. If you are looking for a new circle of friends, caring relationships, acceptance, support and encouragement, fellowship and fun, spiritual growth – and most importantly, an informal environment to be yourself, then sign up at the information counter or contact Jim Moyer at jimmoyer@camcc.net or call (805) 482-2657 x-118
Are you struggling with a challenge in life or having a hard time coping from one day to the next? Then contact our Care Connection Ministry. You do not have to be alone when facing struggles.
Care Connection Ministry - Our Care Connection Ministry is all about ministry of presence. It is a confidential one-on-one support system, provided by our caregivers who have been specially trained to come alongside those going through struggles or loss. While they are not professional counselors, they do provide a loving, listening ear and compassionate heart. If you would like to meet with a caregiver, contact Daryl Lundberg at daryl@camcc.net (805) 482-2657 x-105
